Abstract


Contextual learning has a sense of learning that helps teachers connect knowledge and its application to everyday life as a member of the family and society. It is expected in the learning process is obtained optimal learning results. Based on the issues in this action research approach is contextual model of cooperative learning material Chemical Structure, nomenclature, classification, properties, and uses of macromolecules can increase the activity and student learning outcomes XII-TPHP2 Semester 1 Academic Year 2013/2014 SMK Negeri 1 Trenggalek? Data collection techniques used in this action research include: 1) observation; 2) field notes, and 3) documentation. Data analysis was performed using qualitative data analysis techniques that are linear activity involving a review of all the data that has been collected, data reduction such as categorization, classification and verification, as well as the data inference learning outcomes using contextual learning cooperative model to 34 students. The research results can be explained, that is the group with the title of the cycle l: great as 2 groups, either as 3 groups, and not predicated 1 group; in cycle 2: Super much as 2 groups, a great many as 2 groups, either by 2 groups. In cycle 3: super much as 4 groups, and a great many as 2 groups. While improving student learning outcomes are shown from an increase in cycle 1 by 64.71%, amounting to 88.24% cycle 2 and cycle 3 of 100.00%
