PENINGKATAN PRESTASI BELAJAR STANDAR KOMPETENSI MENANGANI SURAT/DOKUMEN KANTOR DENGAN PEMBELAJARAN THINK PAIR SHARE DAN EXPLICIT INSTRUCTION

Abstract


This research is conducted because of low learning achievement of mastery learning that only 60.61 % or there are 20 students from 33 students have been thoroughly studied. The results show that the classical student has not been thoroughly studied, since students who received â?¥ 78 KKM amounted to only 60.61% smaller than the desired percentage of completeness that is equal to 85%.The aim of the research is to improve learning achievement of standard competency in handling mail / document office by implementing Think Pair Share and Explicit Instruction. The research is conducted to students of class XI Administrative 2 Semester 1 Academic Year 2013/2014 at SMK Negeri 1 Pogalan.This research uses a model of action research Kemmis and Taggart that the procedure spiral describes one cycle to the next cycle. Each cycle includes planning (plan), action (action), observation (observation) and reflection (reflection). The next step in the cycle is a revised planning, action, observation, and reflection.The results showed a good situation, namely the teaching materials quickly accepted and highly significant on students. This is evident in the change from the pre cycle to cycle I, from the first cycle to the second cycle as follows: 30% active students; 54%; 91%; cooperative students: 30%; 42%; 91%; student achievement: 60.61%; 76%; 100%.
