IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MAKE A MATCH PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPS

Abstract


Implementation of various models in primary school is currently being used by teachers to support the learning process, especially in subjects that require a lot of reading and longer understanding of materials such as social science. Social science that requires routine teaching, should be balanced by applying the appropriate models. On applying make a match, students can learn about a concept in a fun atmosphere.This research was conducted in Primary School 01 Kendalrejo in fourth grade students, amounting to 15 children.The research aimed to describe the implementation of make a match on social science, the obstacle experienced by teacher in implementing make a match, and student's response to the learning by teacher. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques using three instruments of observation, interview, and questionnaire. The data analysis stage uses the properties of Miles and Huberman that are divided into three activities; data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The result shows that implementation of make a match has been done correctly in accordance with the established procedure, so those constraints experienced by teacher can be solved quickly and precisely. Make a match can also foster positive responses of students on social science subject.
